I'm actually thinking he should've gone e e cummings and not capitalized anything at all. At the same time, though, I am torn about the "O LIFE!" because the capitalization of life is suitably pretentious for Edward, I must agree.

And yeah, the weird random line breaks and enjambment looked slightly more ridiculous when I'd typed it to

sweetcherrytree; once I'd written it out, well, it wasn't quite the madness I was going for. Blast.

No, I can see him going all e e cummings too. I think he would have tried both, not being able to decide which pretentious style he liked better.
