help! i need somebody

I have a QUESTION for the lot of you. Well, not so much a ... question as a... request for backup.

Yeah um basically I am fresh out of ideas with regards to what to name James' parents in Silly Love Songs, and if I ever want to finish the next chapter, I'm going to need that, because just repeatedly calling them "Mr. and Mrs. Potter" will sound rather dumb. Um... if you help I might actually be able to write the next scene and finally update?

I am so open to suggestions, man, although I am sort of a picky person with names so do not be offended if your brilliant suggestion is not the one I go with.

And for the sake of my head, please don't suggest "Harry" for James' father. I'll pass, thanks.

Eck. I suck at naming parents- heck, I want to CHANGE what I named Lily's parents in MY story but just for the sake of suggesting...
I've always liked the name David-- David Potter has a nice ring to it, as does Joseph Potter though, I dunno if you want both James' and his dad's names to begin with a 'J'
Richard Potter would be okay-- maybe Michael Potter but I'm not so fond of that one...well, hope that helps a bit.

Actually, Richard and Charlotte Potter don't sound too bad together...

Haha I wanted to use Anna but there's already an Anna in it so I figure I should be more creative than that. And it doesn't seem right to have Carter without Anna. (I'm all about the incest.)

Urgh, naming original characters can be so hard sometimes.

Well, I can't think of anything right now, but I think they should be something really eccentric since that is the obvious trend among pure-blood families. I mean, we have Regulus, Sirius, Bellatrix, Andromeda, Narcissa, etc.-- and that's just within the Black family.

That's just my opinion. I'll comment again if I actually think of anything good.

(As an after thought, I've realized all of the Weasleys have fairly common names (excluding Ginny), but I still like the idea of strange names better than common, everyday ones.)
