Everything needs moar Donna! I thought I needed her and Jake along to prod the discussion into continuing, rather than simply Handy or Rose abruptly stopping the discussion. And, I mean, he really does have a thing for blondes, whether he admits it or not.
To put it in terms of lame analogy, Jake is the Donna to Rose's Doctor. In my little world in the interim between Doomsday and TSE, Mickey, Jake and Rose were this little entourage of awesome, and with Mickey gone that leaves Jake as Rose's closest friend. Plus Donna needs someone to complain about the Doctor and Rose with. Hee.
