I can't tell you how much I liked this, but I'll try. ;)
I've always thought that having kids wouldn't be that high on the list of priorities for 10.5 and Rose. I've read kid fic and there's some I do like, but it's refreshing to read a story like this one. As Rose pointed out they're not a requirement. I'd never thought about it before, but he reasons the Doctor didn't want any made a lot of sense.
It was tough watching the Doctor beat himself up about it. I rarely do this when reading fic, but there were a couple of time's when I had a very large lump in my throat because the emotions in the story were so strong. Nice to see him opening up more to Rose at the end.
