IT IS OFFENSIVE part of me is offended by it, because while it is their lives, they sign up to portray characters who people do derive enjoyment out and become amotionally attached to if they have no other outlets for escapism, and then just pulling out (that's what she said) in the middle of character arc and stuff just seems disrespectful.
