Oh I totally agree. I love Doctor/Rose and I love Martha, but the Doctor/Donna dynamic was just awesome and frankly it makes more sense to go around saving the universe with your best friend rather than your tru luv/someone who's madly in love with you. It makes for a much more... functional relationship.
