I remain firm in my belief that Martha and the Doctor went to at least one release party.
Yeah. The level of deference it's given varies, but it usually makes me cringe a little anyway. However one fic did mention that it'd been on a recommendation from Jackie, and Jackie Tyler is totally a Twilight Mom, so I could accept that well enough.
But actually I just don't picture Rose reading pretty much anything. Doesn't strike me as the reader type.
