I do think you see bits of her gigglier self peek through both with Donna and once she meets him again, yeah, and mostly I work with the assumption that all of that was still there, just sort of buried under angst and doom and loneliness, so it should make a reapparance afte rlong enough with this Doctor. And yeah, I loved the giggliness about them too, and I figure it's a pretty intrinsic part of their relationship, so I sort of have trouble agreeing with all those fics that have this Doctor and Rose just angst away for the rest of their lives. ... Possibly this is just because I stubbornly refuse to believe they're anything but happy, but also I just don't see the able to be angsty together for any long period of time.

lol he definitely would! I even have practically that exact line in another fic:
Certain that his dignity was now mortally wounded, he gave up, raising his palms in surrender. “I can’t help it, it’s Donna!” he whined finally, resigned to his fate. “She loved all that! Got married twice in the time I knew her. …Well, sort of.”

I think the mental image of the Doctor 'sashaying' into anywhere is a hilarious one, and OMFG THE PYJAMAS LIRLLL. He would definitely own the most ridiculous pyjamas and Rose would just let it slide because she'd figure there's absolutely no way to convince him otherwise.

Exactly! Licensed or not there's more than enough of the occasional genoicde to qualify, lol.
