Oh, the Doctor would definitely leap at the opportunity to turn Tony into his protege, which, naturally, would terrify Jackie. And yeah, Tony would definitely grow up to be smoe Big Important Scientist or something, completely brilliant and with far more knowledge than his peers, lol.
I'd forgotten that he doesn't actually name it until Runaway Bride, but I went back to watch the clip from "Sound of Drums" and the end of "Gridlock" and it occured to me that yeah, he really tells her absolutely nothing and Rose, aside from in "End of the World", never presses, probably because when she does in EofW, Nine kind of flips out. I thought it was interesting that she'd (naturally) be curious but probably hesitant to approach it, given that during the time she spent with him the wound was particularly fresh and the topic was particularly out-of-bounds -- plus I find the Time War and its corresponding angst particularly intriguing, not gonna lie.
