Summary: It's been a year to the day since Rose and her part-human Doctor wound up in Norway.
In this chapter: Jackie gets new carpet, the Doctor and Donna consider their options, and Rose is forced to admit that she is perhaps not the best at spinning stories.
Excerpt: "Right now, she thinks you’re an alien-obsessed, half-mad scientist with way too much pride in his doctorate who’s just a teensy bit socially inept. Honestly, the truth is probably less strange than whatever explanation she’s got in her head at the moment."

Author's Note: Initially I intended this to just be two parts, but then part two took a lot longer than I expected, and it didn't really seem to make any sense to have part 2 be twice the length of part 1. So three parts it is.

As before, this is set in the same universe as Gingerbread, which introduces this version alt!Donna.
