She didn’t believe you walked into a room and were struck with love at first sight. She didn’t have any high expectations of suddenly falling head over heels for someone, of finding someone absolutely perfect for her. Hell, she didn’t even hold the belief someone perfect existed, even if not for her. Love started off with lust and turned to mere toleration.
Love, simply, did not exist.

anyway, ahoy! i can't believe that i've never read this before! i've been meaning to for ages and ages but i think that when i first came across this story, it was still during the school year, which meant that i most likely didn't have time to sleep, let alone read. (you know, if my tags for italics don't work, i'll be mighty pissed...) but anyway, now that it's the summer, i have adequate amounts of time to do as i please, and that includes finally reading Silly Love Songs! yipee! another added bonus is that these chapters are all revised, and being an author myself, i know how horrible old chapters can be when you look back in retrospect.
