Oh YES. I was thinking of that scene when I wrote my comment actually. It makes me tear up everytime... or even like the scene at the end of JE when he's soaked and walking around the TARDIS by himself. I think that totally reaffirms what you've said - that he'll spend a lot less time in her (haha) because it's just full of lovely but painful memories. Both his Rose and his Donna... :( At least he could always pop in to visit Donna. Though she wouldn't remember him at all... she'll probably just think that he's her grandad's friend or something. Unless he hangs around long enough that she remembers... but what are the chances of that happening?

Why don't you generally do fix-its? Just so it's still... sort of canon? Oh yes. I think everyone would be upset at him for being so self-destructive. Donna for sure, and Rose... of course Rose would be upset. Like, it was you who wrote that fic with Ten2 right? How they talked about the Racnoss incident and Rose finding him dead in Donna's parallel universe?
