how could this happen to meeeee?

I have just completed by last paper for my second year, and I thought I would celebrate by spamming your flists with more Very Important Polls.

[Poll #1380490]

I used a highly scientific method to determine the options you see before you. If you would like an option explained or would like to suggest one, you may say so. ENJOY.

I feel like Here's to the Night should be on this list.

Even though it is officially the JE song.

But as a good song Here's to the Night violates some very key requirements here.

Okay that's a lie, I like some of these. But still.

GOODBYE MY LOVER.

Like Michael Scott.

Do you think the Doctor purchased the whole song or just listens to the preview over and over?

[identity profile] miss-mishi.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
purchased the whole song, but only because Jackie gave him a 15 pound itunes gift card for christmas before being sucked into an alternate dimension and he'd yet to use it.

[identity profile] bluetooth16.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
Too bad I've never listened to 80% of these songs. I just picked the ones I'm most familiar with.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_thirty2flavors/ 2009-04-09 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
...LIRL AWESOME

Jackie would totally give him like, an itunes gift card and a frying pan or something and he would be like "..."

Because in 900 years obviously he has never picked up a frying pan.

The TARDIS doesn't have a kitchen. It does have a vending machine with foods from different worlds.

Or maybe it does have a kitchen but it has a complete hodgepodge of pots and pans picked up from random planets and none of them are a frying pan and if you ask the doctor why all the dishes are weird he calls you species-ist or afraid of other cultures. :P

I tried to stick to ones that I figured people had probably heard before, but I dunno how successful I was in that.

[identity profile] birdseyeview.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
I've never seen the show so I voted solely to fuck with the results :D!

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_thirty2flavors/ 2009-04-09 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
YES. Jackie gets the frying pan because Rose secretly bitches to her about how hard it is to make eggs when the only pans you have are from Tattooine.

[identity profile] bluetooth16.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
You did pretty well in that aspect. I just have very narrow tastes in music. I'm the kind of person who buys albums just for the hit songs and not listen to anything else.

How dare you sir my poll is so srs and important you are messing with science!!!

No seriously every time I do a poll i get like 369396 people voting I don't even know, who may or may not have any idea what they're voting for, and really it just adds to the fun.

[identity profile] miss-mishi.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
YES! "Mum it's just so difficult to make a proper omlette in a triangular pan. And the handle's in the middle so you have to cook around it. But when I asked the Doctor he just said that eggs there are different. How are different eggs supposed to make this an easier pan to cook with?"

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_thirty2flavors/ 2009-04-09 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
And then after Christmas when they're back on the TARDIS the Doctor's all "why would your mother give me a pan, I have lots of pans" and Rose is just like "....yeah... weird... ...want an omelette?"

[identity profile] miss-mishi.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
hahaha truth! and the doctor's like "Yeah I've got some gallifreyan square octopus fruits in the fridge! You should toss those in! They might turn the omelette purple but it's delicious" and she's like facepalm. Square one, how are you?"

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_thirty2flavors/ 2009-04-09 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
rofl square octopus fruit, SOUNDS DELISH

Eventually Rose is just like "fuck it, you can cook breakfast"

[identity profile] theepiccek.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
science is fun.

especially when it's fiction

[identity profile] miss-mishi.livejournal.com 2009-04-09 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
truth. but the doctor can't cook. secretly he orders planetary take out.

I mean come on, traveling the universe for 800-odd years he must have run into at least ONE place that delivers to a TARDIS!
