Initially "bad" was one as well, btu I do like some of them, so that kind of got tossed out.

Given fandom's general penchant for Snow Patrol as the anthem of s3 I was expecting Run to win by a landslide, but apparently not! Though it is winning in the second poll by quite a lot.

It is! Admittedly I have a take hom exam due Tuesday that's basically like a paper, but oh well.

CRAPSTICKS! I voted incorrectly! I did not read your directions carefully and I voted for what songs I thought would be best for s2... which probably explains why no one voted for the songs that I voted for... I never read directions. What a pretty pickle.

I only had one take home exam in college and it was I think during my senior year. It was a complete waste of time since there were only 8 people in our class so we all just sat in the library and did it together. Hardly a learning experience. But I guess it was fun.

tbh most of your updates are like lulz of the day, WHICH IS AWESOME.

I do admit I can be amused by OOCness BUT only if it's in the "evil, tea-poisoning Ianto"-scale. Mostly it's a reaction to stuff I've come across lately. I HATE (and I really do mean hate) reading a promising chapter/prologue only for the fic to turn into days of our bleeding lives. DO NOT WANT. I think I am justified in wanting some standard guide lines, that's all.

All I'm saying is that for example if people are writing a s2 fic they might NOT want to turn Ten into Edward Cullen and/or make him be overly lovey-dovey. I think it's safe to say that'd be OOC, but you're right...what do I know? ;)

You know I hate elitism of any kind but WTF how hard could it be to imagine that if Ten can't tell Rose he effing loves her at the end of s4 he would have some trouble doing it (and you know... her) any other time as well.

I don't mind Ten2 being written "badly" as much as Ten. because we don't know how much humanity and Donna changed him so he's anyone's guess, but still *random noise of frustration*.

I don't know... Maybe I watch a different show than other shippers? Blah blah, I think I've stumbled over too many romance stories authored by 12 year olds when in the mood for angsty Master/Ten-bantering fic. Not that it's wrong with romance but I prefer stories that feel as if they could be an episode you know...THAT'S IC for me.

OMG. OMG OMG. I don't know why people think Ten is romantic. No, seriously, someone please explain, please, because I don't understand. A sobbing Rose says "I love you" and he says "QUITE RIGHT TOO". WHY DO YOU THINK HE WOULD SUDDENLY WAX POETIC ABOUT HER EYEBROWS D: D: D:

He is emotionally stunted and inept and reluctant to admit to any vulnerability. He is not Edward Cullen. OMG STOP MAKING HIM WATCH HER SLEEP. IT IS CREEPY. DID TWILIGHT TEACH YOU NOTHING D: Also, sleeping people are really really boring.

Yeah I should be more lenient with Ten2 but it's hard because I Have ingrained my own perosnal canon into him and when I read stories that don't fit with it I twitch internally. Oops. Same thing happened with James Potter and Regulus Black.

I don't read much slash and part of that is because every time I try, they both start acting like 13 year old girls instead of whatever-year-old men (or in this case centuries-old Time Lords).

Also anyone who thinks Master/Doctor is anything approaching sweet should probably speak to a therapist. I haven't raed much and I imagine that is really for the best. There has only been one fic I've seen where both of them have seemed remotely in character. (I imagine the Master is very ahrd to write, though, so credit for that.)

Yes it is quite comfy up here.
