lol I read a fic recently where Handy had to fly some alien ship and he just put it on autopilot then played with the temperature controls to look impressive, and I thought it was awesome because it's probably so true.

I'm not a big fan of Donna's part in SitL/FotD if only because I take it as further examples of Moffat's unwillingness to have the companions do anything of value but I did feel really bad for Donna and the whole Lee thing. D:

Oh, definitely! You can tell he really clings to that, particularly when he mentions her to Martha. And, I mean, he did intend to send her there with the jumper in the first place, so I don't think convincing himself she was better off would be much of a stretch.
