Ah ha! I thought that I understood where the story was originally heading, but it hadn't made a lot of sense in the original version because Anna and James had been snogging originally, if I recall. Anyway, I hope that Lily does apologize eventually, as she was extremely mean to poor James, if only to show she regrets past actions.
