Apparently the original Journey's End script had a scene with brown!Ten giving blue!Ten a bit of the tardis to, er, grow his own, but it got cut/never got filmed/ran out of time/something. Then this official magazine (http://community.livejournal.com/needs_saying/14069.html) came out and states it as canon, so I guess we're pretty much meant to assume it happened off screen.

Which negates the "zomg I miss travelling the universe" angst that I relied on for this fic, lol.
